Neal grew up in Germany until he was 17 years old, then moved to the United Kingdom to do his A-levels and started dental school by the age of 20 years old. Neal had the opportunity to work in the National Health System in England in a Private Practice in Germany. Neal received his undergraduate and dental degree from the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom in 2008. He was president of the British Dental Student’s Association from 2007-2008 and represented the student body on political decision on the National Health Service in the UK. He has worked in Germany and the UK as a general dentist before moving to Seattle to complete his residency in Periodontics and Implants at the University of Washington, one of the best in the world for this specialty. His Master’s research project on microbial interaction with restorative implant materials is considered a world’s first and is guaranteed to change the way we restore dental implants. He is involved in research and mentors the current UW graduate students. Neal has had the opportunity to lecture in Germany, England, as well as the United States.

Neal loves spending time with his family, his wife Khushbu, and most of all, his baby daughter, Arya. Neal cherishes being a new and first time father and all the different experiences it comes with. He is a passionate squash player and can be found every Tuesday evening at the squash league courts.
